Welcome to the Capenhurst Youth Section

The Youth section at Capenhurst Villa FC was formed ready for the 2002/3 season, after a merger with 'Ellesmere Port Junior League' club Princes Villa FC

Princes Villa themselves boast a proud tradition in local junior football, having had huge success over the years, with teams from ages 6 to 16 years.  They have an excellent structure with managers and coaches throughout the age groups all achieving the FA approved 'Charter Standard Development' level. The Youth section now in place, gives the lads a chance to then progress into the youth league and beyond that, hopefully into West Cheshire league football. 

Once the idea was mentioned, both Capenhurst Villa FC and Princes Villa FC realised it would benefit both clubs to invest time in a youth team to bolster the ageing ranks at Capenhurst, and also to provide a stepping stone to senior football for local 16, 17 & 18 year olds playing at Princes Villa.  The name 'Princes Villa Capenhurst' was the natural title given to the team.

Their first season was an ensuing success, finishing in a creditable 5th position in the league, this was also coupled with an appearance in the Youth league cup final.  
Their steady progress continues today, with an Under 18's team, and also an under 17's team, in the same Wallasey Youth League. Players are already being called up for the West Cheshire league side on a regular basis.  This is showing right now, that it is a step in the right direction as the youngsters are already starting to bolster the ranks of Capenhurst Villa FC and hopefully will continue to do so for many years to come.
